What healthcare professionals ask about verification.
What if my HPCSA registration is approaching expiry?
We flag you 60 days before expiry and 30 days before suspension. You can continue applying for shifts whose start date is before your expiry. Once you renew, upload the new certificate and we re-verify on the same day.
I am a foreign-trained doctor — can I use Locum?
Yes, provided you have HPCSA registration (independent practice or supervised practice). The verification process is the same. We accept all HPCSA categories.
What about nurses and allied health?
Nurses are verified against the South African Nursing Council register; allied health professionals against the relevant board (Physiotherapy, Radiography, etc.). Upload your council registration document; the rest of the flow is identical.
Can a facility see my registration document?
No. Facilities see your registration number, name, and verification status — but never your actual document. The document is hashed for our matching, then deleted within 24 hours.
